dreams asymptotically approach reality, reality gets so unreal. I think about whose dream and hallucinations I am living in, who defined all these concepts and said one is more important than the other, and brought me along to dream this collective dream with them.
last year I traveled to Hangzhou to see the exhibit of my favorite author 三毛. how do I try to understand why she took her life after all the fame and impact she accomplished. I try to see through her eyes, and start to think it’s trivial to become a top player in a game, that was what I was striving for maybe in high school, now I think more about who is designing the game, it’s hard to play the game wholeheartedly if I’m thinking about the possibility of redesigning it.
